It was used by fishermen harvesting salmon from their nets. It's 20 meters across and above a 30-meter-deep chasm with rocks below.

This unusual phenomenon was created by an ancient volcanic fissure that left about 40,000 hexagonal interlocking basalt columns resembling stairs. Your last castle stop for more amazing photos is at Dunluce Castle. This medieval castle was built around 1500 by the MacMillan family. The ruins are located on the edge of an outcropping and are accessible only by a bridge from the mainland.

Excursion Restrictions
