Regardless if you are arriving at the cruise ship terminal or staying in a hotel, there are convenient stops around the city to fit your needs. This flexible city sightseeing excursion offers up the highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Please see the map link below to show you the route so you can start making your game plan.

Guests will be given another map when they get on the bus. There is a retractable/clear roof so everyone has a great view. You may choose to stay on the bus for the full route - the Blue Line (City Route) will take approximately 90 minutes for the full loop. The Green Line (Park Route) will take approximately 120 minutes. Or you can hop off at any or all of the stops, explore and see up-close the attractions that interest you, then just hop back on the next bus. The frequency varies from season ranging from 15 to 60 minutes between buses. Guests are provided with headsets so you can listen to the commentary available in 7 different languages. You will learn about the area and the stops and what they offer.

There are 20+ stops with all of the best highlights and attractions. Please note that the entrance fee for the attractions is not included.

Guests may choose to do one or the other route or even do them both! There are a couple of stops where guests can switch to the other line if they purchase the Classic Pass including both the City and Park Route tickets - Gastown, Canada Place, Library Square, Sports District/Sandman City Center, or Chinatown.

Just hop off to where you went to end the excursion and make your way back to the cruise pier at Canada Place #3 or at the nearest stop to your hotel.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you have cash on hand for entrance fees, refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
• Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
• Seniors and students will need to show their photo IDs for proof of rate.

Where we meet

For the Vancouver City Hop On Hop Off Excursion, you can start at the Canada Place Cruise Terminal, but there are numerous starting locations all over Vancouver City. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
  
• Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
  
• As there is no specific end time the excursion, it is the guest's responsibility to know their ships scheduled departure time and plan their day to be back on board at the appointed time (if this applies).
  
• The buses are not able to accommodate luggage, strollers or wheelchairs.
• On some of the optional stops, guests may have to walk on paved, gravel and cobblestone surfaces.
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
