You will meet your guide just a couple of minutes walk from your pier.
The first portion of your excursion is shopping. Downtown has some of the best duty-free stores in the Caribbean. You just might find everything on your vacation shopping list right here. From fine jewelry to watches to electronics and even liquor. You will also explore Main Street and the Waterfront for approximately 2 hours.
Your sightseeing time starts at about 12 noon as your guide turns on the fun tropical music and the transportation winds its way up to Mountain Top, the highest point on the island at 1,547ft. Along the route, you will have several stops, spectacular views, and great photo ops.
When you reach Mountain Top, you will be treated to a fabulous view of Magen's Bay Beach, rated in the top 10 best in the world.
Sightseeing will take about 2 hours and then your shore excursion guide will take you back to the meeting point. Rounding the island's East End, you will come to Red Hook Ferry Dock and see 2 of the marinas where you will see how the islanders live.
Where we meet
For this St. Thomas sightseeing excursion, you will meet right outside the cruise pier gate in St. Thomas. Details will be printed on your Electronic shore excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the St. Thomas Island Combo Sightseeing and Shopping Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
