For guests interested in visiting the nude beach section of Orient Bay, please note that direct drop-off is not permitted. However, it’s just a short and easy walk from Le String Kontiki.

Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent directly from the beachfront restaurants and private vendors, allowing you to customize your comfort for the day.

Excursion Notes

• Bring along sun protection, swimsuit, change of clothes, towel, camera, and cash for souvenirs, drinks, snacks, shopping, etc.
• Please consider there is a nudist beach near the beach stops during the excursion, so topless is allowed at that area.
• Please note the excursion departure time is set to St. Maarten local time. Please be aware of the daylight saving time (DST) change, which begins in autumn and continues until spring. During this period, cruise ship time may be one hour behind St. Maarten time. Ensure you adjust your schedule to arrive at the departure point on St. Maarten time!

Where we meet

For this St. Maarten Orient Beach Express Excursion, depending on if you are coming in by tender or dock at the pier in St. Maarten, you will meet just a 2-3 minute walk from where you arrive. All necessary details will be printed on your electronic shore excursion ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Please note this excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• This excursion is not suitable for guests with limited mobility issues.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
