Enjoy a sailing day along the Dutch coastline of St. Maarten. A fun-filled day in a comfortable 54ft sailboat! Snorkel, paddle board, and much more including lunch and a top-shelf open bar.
Enjoy a packed day on the water when you visit St Maarten on this cruise and snorkel shore excursion. Open bar and freshly made lunch are included as well as snorkel and stand-up paddleboard equipment.
Your meeting spot is just a 4 to 10-minute walk from your St. Maarten cruise terminal. Your friendly English-speaking captain and hostess will welcome you, assist you onto the dinghy and take you out to the sailboat anchored in the water. After a brief safety presentation, you will motor out of the bay and then weather permitting, cut the engine, hoist the sails, and cruise along the coast of St. Maarten. There are both sun and shade areas on board. There is plenty of room with a maximum of only 30 on board.
Depending on the conditions, the captain will decide where to stop. Enjoy great snorkeling there amongst the colorful coral, starfish, blue tang, and more tropical fish. Do not be surprised if you see a turtle!
Enjoy stand-up paddle boarding or simply jump in the turquoise water and refresh in the calm ocean. All activities are optional; you can just stay on board the sailboat and relax. Once back onboard, enjoy a delicious lunch that includes a mildly spicy chicken and rice dish - ask for the recipe! Dessert is cookies and chocolate. An open bar is included on board and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available.
Cruise on to Mullet Bay and Little Bay on the Dutch side where you can enjoy a nice dip in the ocean or even enjoy the Tarzan Swing - your fun boat crew will show you how to do it!
On the way back to the starting point, additional snacks are served and your open bar is available. Alcohol is available all day, in and out of the water. Souvenirs of your day are available to purchase on board. Kick back and enjoy your vacation day as the sailboat take you back to the dock.
Where we meet
For this St. Maarten Deluxe Sailing Boat Excursion, you will after a short taxi ride or 10-15 minutes walking distance from your cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the St. Maarten Deluxe Sailing Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
