Your day will begin by meeting your professional crew for the check-in just a short 5-minute taxi ride from your Seward cruise terminal. Once you checked in, please get on board to your nice and comfortable cruise and prepare for your exciting experience searching Orca Whales during their Prime Time Season! This is a lifetime opportunity to admire these beautiful animals in their natural environment, so get the camera ready for all the pictures!
There will be a spectacular atmosphere while your knowledgeable captain lead the ride towards the Orcas major hot spots, narrating your surroundings and giving you important information about these dolphins relatives. Also, the cruise count with an onboard hydrophone to listen the chants of these fascinating, highly social animals, that usually call each other underwater, for haunting, mate, or simply communicate.
Please note the Orca whales are in their habitat so they move according the weather and food, so everyday is a unique experience as the route taken might change. Your professional captain is in constant communication with other vessels looking for Orca sightings to maximize your chance to see them surfacing the ocean.
In addition to viewing the killer whales, there is always a chance to find a variety of other animals that can include Steller sea lions, harbor seals, Dall’s porpoises, sea otters, bald eagles, seabirds, and even humpback whales. The experienced crew knows these waters well so the chances are very high, just keep in mind that animals are free to move wherever they want so keep the camera in hand to capture them!

Where we meet
For this Seward Orca Whale Watching Cruise Excursion, you will meet your local excursion guide at a convenient point just about a 3-5 minute taxi ride from your Seward cruise pier area. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Seward Orca Whale Watching Cruise Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 3 days prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
