Your day begins with meeting your guide for check-in, just a short 5-minute taxi ride from the cruise ship terminal (a free shuttle service is also available). Once checked in, get ready for an exciting cruise toward the breathtaking glaciers of Alaska! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to admire the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of Alaska, so have your camera ready!
First on the itinerary is passing through Resurrection Bay and heading to Bear Glacier. Please note that visibility will depend on weather conditions. Bear Glacier is an iceberg field lagoon and the longest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. Enjoy this natural marvel safely and capture stunning photos of the beautiful ice structures.
Continuing with the excursion, you will have the chance to admire the vast wildlife, including orca whales, humpback whales, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, eagles, and many species of seabirds. To fully enjoy your time on board, you will be treated to coffee, tea, and water throughout the excursion, along with a delicious lunch of your choice: turkey, roast beef, or vegetarian sandwiches. Extra snacks and drinks are also available for purchase on the cruise.
The excursion is fully narrated by your experienced captain and designed for small groups, providing an excellent opportunity to interact with and ask questions of our knowledgeable crew. After a full day of exploring the Alaskan waters, you will return to the meeting point to disembark and take the free shuttle back to your cruise ship terminal.
