Your excursion will begin once you meet your guide near your cruise terminal. Be ready to board your comfortable A/C transportation to start your journey through the beautiful Santorini.
First in your itinerary, you will visit Oia, a true jewel of the island where you'll capture breathtaking panoramic views and explore the traditional charm of local art and architecture. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its vibrant streets of the famous Caldera village. You will make a photo stop at Firostefani, where you will discover the famous Blue Domed Church, an emblematic building that can be seen in several guidebooks and websites of the island!
Next, you will visit the Monastery of Prophet Ilias (Prophet Ilias), a very important landmark located at 2000 (600 meters) above sea level, it has great historical significance and a bell tower and a collection of religious goods from the 18th century! You will also go through the Village of Pyrgos on your way down! It has stunning views of Santorini and charming houses with features of the Venetian rule!
After some interesting sightseeing, you will make a short stop at the famous Black Beach of Perivolos, the largest beach in Santorini, and it takes its name after the black volcanic pebbles that cover it, be ready to capture incredible pictures of the Aegean Sea and the islands nearby and just relax feeling the breeze!
Once your amazing day exploring Santorini comes to an end, your professional guide will help you to board your transportation back to your cruise terminal so you can return to your cruise ship safe and sound or if time allows you can keep enjoying the port on your own expense.
Where we meet
For the Santorini Private Best Highlights Excursion, you will meet your local guide outside the Cable car exit for cruise ship guests near your Santorini cruise terminal. All the essential details will be provided on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Santorini Private Best Highlights Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
