A great excursion that will introduce you to one of the most fascinating cities in the world. Ride a luxury motor coach as you take in the sights known world over such as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, China Town and much more. In one of the most diverse and cultural cities in the world, you'll get a chance to see how the locals live their lives surrounded by this city's gorgeous backdrop.
You'll be picked up at your hotel or meet close to your San Francisco cruise ship pier. Then once you are checked in, you will hop onboard a state of the art, luxury coach with large viewing windows. As the bus heads out on the route, your guide will be narrating, giving you information and stories about the sites. Within just a 7 by 7 square mile radius, you'll see a lot including Chinatown and Union Square. See the famous Cliff House, which has gone through 5 renovations since 1858 and is an impressive structure that overlooks Ocean Beach and see Fisherman's Wharf, which has a life all its own with vendors, street performers, great views and a whole lot more. Actor Harry Anderson, of Night Court, got his start here with a magic show and a shell game. Union Square is filled with shops and restaurants. See Nob Hill, Presidio Park, and the Palace of Fine Arts.
You'll also climb one of the most famous hills of San Francisco to the top where you'll see impressive views and can take those great photos. All this while you are being entertained with narration by your experienced guide. Weather permitting, you'll even get go up Twin Peaks located in the geographic center of San Francisco and has amazing views of the city below.
Also important to remember is that during the photo stops you'll have about 15 minutes to walk around and explore. So, come to take a bus and see what all the fuss is all about as you take in the lovely city of San Francisco. When your time comes to an end, you'll be dropped back off at your meeting point in San Francisco.
Where we meet
For the San Francisco Best of City Highlights Excursion, you will be met close to your San Francisco cruise ship pier or at your San Francisco Hotel. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the San Francisco Best of City Highlights Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:
- You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
- Your ship misses/skips the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
- Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
