This excursion will leave you completely breathless with trails running straight to the beautiful Sierra Madre. Your amazing day begins just 10 minutes away walking distance from your meeting point, very close to your Puerto Vallarta cruise ship terminal. Your professional guide will be there to meet you and take you to your air-conditioned transportation heading to their base camp to start. There will be a lot of walking so do not forget your most comfortable shoes and your sense of adventure!

This experience is complemented by our new and exclusive “Jorullo Point”. This dazzled glass platform structure will give you a panoramic view of mother nature surrounding you. Get to the limit and feel the adrenaline from the glass floor to your senses while you observe the one-of-a-kind landscape.

The day is not over yet. Do not forget about the tequila tasting! Learn about the plant the iconic tequila is made of and get the chance to taste it. The tasting part is completely optional, you are more than welcome to just enjoy the visit!

Once your shore excursion is completed, you will be returned to your meeting point and you may take a taxi back to your Puerto Vallarta cruise terminal at your leisure and expense.

Where we meet

For the Puerto Vallarta Jorullo Point Hiking Excursion, the meeting spot is near your Puerto Vallarta Cruise Ship Terminal (approximately 10 minutes walking distance). All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 12 years old.
• Please note this excursion is not recommended for guests with asthma, heart issues, back issues, and pregnant women.
  
• Guests under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances are not allowed. 
• This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.
• This excursion does not accommodate wheelchairs.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
