Simply hop onboard a ferry in Playa del Carmen that will transport you to Cozumel. Relax and enjoy spectacular views while gliding across the Caribbean. For your convenience, the ferry has both facilities and snacks. See the views from the top deck while the ocean breezes keep you cool, or ride in the main, air-conditioned cabin. Consumables are not included. Once you arrive, simply take a taxi to Mr. Sanchos where you can pick your perfect spot, kick back on the beach, and wait for a boat to pick you up beach-side for some fabulous snorkeling.

Both snorkel sites are within the boundaries of the Marine Park so the marine life is protected and thriving! The meeting spot is right at Mr. Sanchos Beach Club. Your English speaking guide will get you checked in and on board the boat. They will pass out your gear and explain how to use it as the captain sets out for your first snorkel site. They will also go over all of the safety rules and instructions for the excursion.

Enjoy one of the most recommended activities in Cozumel...snorkeling on the second largest barrier reefs in the world. You can expect to see a wide variety of tropical fish, sponges, coral formations and more all in the turquoise blue Caribbean water. Water visibility can easily be 200ft on any given day! Your snorkel time at each of the sites is about 30-45 minutes.

When you return back to Mr. Sanchos, you can enjoy your All Inclusive Day Pass or stay at the beach and pay as you go. With over a mile of white sandy beach, Mr. Sanchos has one of the nicest stretches of beach on the island. They also have swimming pools, lounge chairs, beach and water volleyball, complete water park, lockers, changing rooms, bar, restaurant, beach massages, beach ATV tours, horseback riding tours, etc. Some activities at extra cost.

NOTE: You do not need to pay an entrance fee into Mr. Sanchos to do this activity. There is a pay as you go side that does not require fee and is separated from the All Inclusive side.

Excursion Notes

• The marine park fee is not included in the price and has to be paid in cash upon tour departure ($3.00 USD per person).
• We recommend to bring along sun protection, towel, change of clothes, swimsuit, camera, extra cash, etc.

Where we meet

For the Mr. Sanchos Beach Club 2 Reef Marine Park Snorkel Excursion in Cozumel, you will meet directly at Mr. Sanchos Beach Club. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Not available on Sundays
• The minimum age for snorkeling is 8 years old. Younger kids can come along on the boat as observers but may not get in the water (see observer fee on order form).
• Staff will assist guests with mobility issues (getting across the sand to the boat and to get in and out of the boat via the metal ladder on the side).

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
