This classic double-decker sightseeing bus will help you to do just that. You can pick and choose which sightseeing stop is best for you, or ride the whole route and decide the next time around. As an added treat, you will have entrance to the famous Belver Castle, all included in the price and the pass is good for a full 24 hours.

With multiple stops, and one close to your Mallorca cruise ship pier, seeing the city on this Sightseeing Shore Excursion couldn't be easier. When you first come on board the bus you will be handed a schedule that includes all the stops. You are also welcome to put on the provided headphones and learn more about Mallorca in 8 languages including English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Chinese, Russian, and Catalan as the bus goes around the route.

One of the best attractions is Avenida de Antoni Maura, at Bus Stop 1. This Avenue was named after Palma de Mallorca's Prime Minister who came to power in 1903. Another unmissable destination is the Paseo Maritimo, at Bus Stop 7. Soak up the sunshine, feel the breeze, and take a break from the road.

Built for Mallorca King James II in 1300, this unique Gothic-style structure is one of the few round castles in Europe. It is perched on a wooded hillside it overlooks the city, the sea, and all surrounding countryside. It is easy to see why it has the name which means "lovely view" in Catalan Spanish. It was originally the royal residence to Mallorcan rulers, it was used as a military prison and is a cultural center and museum today.You will receive entrance to the castle (a guided visit is not included but available on-site for an extra fee). Each excursion receives one entrance pass for the castle.

Remember, once you've seen the castle you can simply hop back on the bus for more exploring. When you hop off at a location, you can hop back on at your convenience at one of the many sightseeing shore excursion stops. Since buses run all day, the wait time is minimal. So, go ahead, enjoy the beauty of Mallorca your way! You may book up to 3 months prior to your excursion date.

Excursion prices shown are quoted in US dollars.
As you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
We suggest you have cash (Euros) on hand for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
Please note that admission or entrance fees to the attractions/museums, etc are not included.
Most of our buses are wheelchair accessible. The buses cannot safely accommodate two or more occupied wheelchairs, so if there is already a wheelchair user on the bus that you want to board, unfortunately, you’ll need to wait for the next bus.
Mobile or Paper vouchers are accepted.

Where we meet

For the Palma de Mallorca Bellver Castle and City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off Bus Excursion, there are numerous starting locations all over town, including locations near your Mallorca cruise ship pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

Excursion doesnÂ´t run Sunday nor Monday.
Fold-up wheelchairs can be accommodated on the lower level of the bus only.
Many sites in the city are not wheelchair accessible.
Guests must be able to navigate a narrow steep staircase to access the top deck of the bus.
Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines at most stops.
There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.
Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
Excursion tickets are only valid on City Sightseeing buses. Unused tickets or tickets presented to another operator are non-refundable.
As there is no specific end time the excursion, it is the guest's responsibility to know their ships scheduled departure time and plan their day to be back on board at the appointed time.

Will they cancel if it is raining?

The excursion operates rain or shine, within safety guidelines. The buses include covered areas on the lower deck and many also include electric roofs over the top deck in case of inclement weather.

Will I see the Palma Cathedral?

That is completely up to you. You choose what sites you want to see. The Palma Cathedral is located near Stop #1.

Will there be restrooms?

Restrooms are located near each bus stop. In Europe, a small package of tissues is suggested as public restrooms may or may not have toilet paper. Most public restrooms require a small fee. Having a few local coins is highly recommended, as they do not always make change.

Is there shopping time included?

Shopping time is completely up to you. You decide how you want to spend your time.

Can I use my Palma City Sightseeing ticket on any on/off bus?

Your ticket is only valid on the City Sightseeing buses. Unfortunately, other buses have accepted City Sightseeing tickets and then charged the guests extra once on board. There is no refund for unused tickets or tickets presented to the wrong operator.

Can I use US dollars?

Most large stores and restaurants will take major credit cards and some may take other currencies besides the Euro. Small stores restaurants or sidewalk vendors will usually only take local currency. The best exchange rates for currency are usually at major bank ATMs. The worst rates are at the airport, train stations or exchange bureaus located in major excursionist areas. Before leaving home, please check with your credit card companies and banks on what transaction or other fees they may apply if you use a debit or credit card abroad. These are in addition to the fees applied by the vendor or host bank where you are using the card.

No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.

Cancellation

For the Palma de Mallorca Bellver Castle and City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off Bus Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
Your ship misses/skips the port.
Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
