You'll get to experience incredible foods of the famous South Beach, or SoBe, as the locals call it. A fun walking adventure that will take you to 5 different establishments in South Beach to try some of the wonderful food found there. What an incredibly diverse area and you can expect to hear English, Spanish and German everywhere you go. This eclectic mix of cultures also includes South American and Asian influences, all of which make for a unique culinary experience you won't find anywhere else.
Whether you are arriving just for the day or in Miami either before or after your cruise, you will meet at the first stop of this fun walking excursion. Your guide will lead your small group from stop to stop at a nice leisurely pace along Ocean Drive. You'll not just get to taste some of the best foods that SoBe has to offer, but see amazing sights as well. You can either pick a lunch or a dinner excursion time. The food is about the same but the view in the evening changes when the neon lights along Ocean Beach come on.
Did you know that South Beach has the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world? You'll have a chance to see the beauty of that style as well as enjoy the, sometimes outlandish, fashions worn by the locals. This area has long nurtured diversity and creativity and you won't be disappointed. Street art is everywhere and quite impressive, as are the more traditional art galleries. As far as local transportation, you'll see folks on skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, motorcycles and lots of folks just walking from store to store to select their foods for the day.
Imagine enjoying foods as varied as ceviche, empanadas, Cuban coffee, Spanish tapas, Italian gelato, Cubano sandwiches and the many other foods that attract visitors from all over Miami, and the world. You can even customize this if you are a vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free (noted on order form when booking).
You'll discover that the restaurants have been carefully selected by the local culinary specialists. Taste 7-8 delicious dishes and learn about South Beach history and events. During the excursion, you'll continue to meander around one of the most eclectic neighborhoods you can imagine while you visit gourmet eateries, mom and pop shops, street vendors, and more.

In total, guests will cover approximately one mile (1.6 km) walking from establishment to establishment. At the last stop, guests may take a taxi back to their Miami hotel or cruise ship.
Where we meet
For the Miami South Beach Food Tasting Excursion, you will meet at local Miami restaurant. All the details needed will be listed on your Shore Excursion Electronic Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Miami South Beach Food Tasting and Walking Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:
- You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
- Your ship misses/skips the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
- Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
