Come and explore the best Mazatlan has to offer on this City Bike Excursion. Your local guide will show you the best and hidden spots of Mazatlan. You'll learn about the history of the city that was once frequented by merchants and pirates.

Upon meeting your professional, English-speaking guide just a 15-minute walk from your Mazatlan cruise terminal, you will be fitted with a Cruiser-style bicycle and safety helmet (optional). Before following your guide out on the adventure, you will receive a brief introduction to the history of the port and a beachside view of the islands. Then, over the next 1.5 hours (6-kilometer route), you will paddle at a relaxed pace down one of the world's largest boardwalks, enjoying spectacular ocean and beach views.

Your guide will lead your small group by some of the most iconic monuments and landmarks including the 31 de Marzo Fort, Olas Atlas, Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Cliff Divers, and the Pino Suarez Market. The relaxed pace will make this an easy and enjoyable ride. Need a break or photo stop? Just ask and we will accommodate your request. Throughout this guided excursion, your native guide will share their passion for both city and country.

At the completion of this amazing adventure, you will ride back to the hotel to drop off your cruiser-style bicycle before being transferred back to your Mazatlan cruise terminal where you may board your ship or continue to explore at your own expense.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, and sun protection.
• Bring along your camera and cash for food, drinks, additional purchases, tips, etc.
• Bikes used on this excursion are Cruiser-style bicycles.
• Total biking distance is 3 miles (4.82km).

Where we meet

For the Mazatlan City Bike Excursion, you will meet outside your cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must know how to ride a bike although the pace is slow.
• Each person must ride their own bike. There are no tandem bikes or extension trailers.
• Although this bike excursion is not strenuous, guests should be in good health. Not suitable for expectant mothers and guests with recent surgeries.
• This Mazatlan City Bike Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
