You will take a taxi from your Malaga cruise port to the meeting location (transportation cost is not included). Upon meeting your professional, English-speaking tour guide at a central location, you will be escorted to your air-conditioned transportation and head out to the town of Marbella. This 1-hour picturesque ride will wind you along the spectacular Costa del Sol or Sun Coast. Marbella expertly combines hints of its former Moorish occupation with the sprinkling of modern-day resorts and boutique shops to discover as you wind through the lively streets. Your guide would walk you through the city for approximately 45 minutes.

Marbella is known as a glamorous resort town and a favorite location of the rich and famous, boosted by foreign residents who are seduced by the lifestyle. You will then enjoy a guided drive along the Golden Mile, a four-mile stretch from Marbella's western edge to the port city of Banus. As you make your way along the stunning coastline you will enjoy a glimpse of the luxurious villas dotting this exclusive area including the Palace of King Fahd.

Arriving in Puerto Banus, you will appreciate 1-hour free time to stroll the famous marina, home of the most luxurious shops including Christian Dior, Gucci, Bvlgari, Versace, D&G, and many others. Banus marks the perfect place to go shopping, see the latest fashion trends, and sample one of the many restaurants or bars in the area that offer varied gastronomy with Spanish and international cuisine. How you spend your time in Port Banus is up to you!

Lastly, you will have time to explore Nueva Andalucia, one of the largest flea markets in Costa del Sol with over 120 stalls. Here you will find a wide variety of spices, paintings, crafts, furniture, textiles, and antiques gleaming with an authentic and local vibe. Enjoy 1-hour of free time to do some shopping and tasting of local products.

At the end of the day, you will be returned to the point of pickup in your comfortable transportation where you can return to your Malaga cruise ship terminal.

Where we meet

For the Malaga Marbella and Banus Excursion, you will meet at a centrally located spot near your cruise terminal or hotel in Malaga. All necessary details will be printed on your Shore Excursion Electronic Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• Guests must be able to step on and off the coach.
• Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as some steep curbs.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
