Your day begins once you meet your professional excursion staff, you will board your comfortable transportation to go directly to Florence, which is considered an open-air museum! The city center has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built on the site of an Etruscan settlement to economic and cultural pre-eminence under the Medici in the 15th and 16th centuries. Its 600 years of extraordinary artistic activity can be seen above all in the 13th-century cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), Ponte Vecchio, a medieval bridge above the Arno River. It is an important symbol of the city and one of the most famous bridges in the world! You will also have the chance to visit the Piazza della Signoria, where you can see and take pictures of the wonderful Michelangelo's David replica statue!

Next, you will have the opportunity to visit the city's central market where you can taste delicious local dishes and get some excellent local items and souvenirs at your own expense. After this experience, you will have some free time to explore and browse around the city.

Your next stop will be the magnificent city of Pisa. Let yourself be amazed by its culture and amazing monuments, like the Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was owned by the Catholic Church and has four important religious buildings: The Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistery, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (bell tower, you have the entrance tickets included!), and the Camposanto Monumentale ('Monumental Cemetery'). Nowadays, it is well known as an important art center in the world! Explore all of them and learn all about their rich history! 

You will have approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of free time in Florence to relax and enjoy the city, while in Pisa you will have about 75 minutes to discover its wonderful charms and colors! 

At the end of your excursion, you will go back to your transportation to return to your meeting point in La Spezia and go back to your cruise ship terminal on time!
