When you arrive back at the shore excursion meeting point, you will be helped from the van into the stingray snorkel excursion boat that will take you the short distance to Gibbs Cay - a small island located about a mile offshore. Gibbs Cay, also known as Stingray City, is the perfect place to encounter the Southern Stingrays that come to frequent the waters looking for some "fish treat handouts" from the stingray shore excursion guides. The water is very shallow and warm so guests can kneel on the sandy bottom, stand or even snorkel above to watch and interact with the rays. • Guests should be comfortable in the water.
• There is limited shade on the boat and no restrooms onboard.
• The minimum participation age is 3 years old. There is limited child-size snorkel gear.
• Children may not be left on the boat unattended.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
