Just a short taxi ride away from your cruise pier, the friendly, trained jet ski staff will be waiting for you and get you checked in.  They will go over the plan for the day, pass out your gear and show you to your 700cc Yamaha Wave Runner. You will receive the safety instructions and tips for riding before the guide leads you out through the aqua-blue water off the Grand Bahama shores and into the water.

PLEASE NOTE: Taxi drivers are paid a commission to take guests to a private beach. They may try and tell you Lucayan Beach is closed and they can take you somewhere else. This is false information and please insist they follow the directions on your e-ticket.

Your destination is a small uninhabited private island. When you arrive at the island, you will have a 20-minute beach break to relax, swim, and enjoy the sunshine before you head back on your jet ski to Lucayan Beach.

This is a fun activity for the entire family or group to enjoy. You may choose to ride solo or double. Please note that all drivers must have a valid driver's license and someone 18yrs or older must be on the jet ski at all times. The minimum age to ride on the back is 6 years old.

When you return to Lucayan Beach, you may stay at the beach as long as you wish. There are many choices of restaurants, bars, and shops in the area to choose from to purchase food or drinks and to do some souvenir hunting.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towels, sun protection, cash for purchases, food, drinks, taxi fare, etc.
  
• You must present your valid driver's license from home.
  
• A credit card is needed as an insurance deposit.
  
• Transportation costs are not included.
  

Where we meet

For this Jet Ski Cruise Excursion from Freeport, you will meet just a 15-20 minute taxi ride from your Freeport Bahamas cruise ship terminal. Details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. There is also a shuttle for approx. $5.00usd per person, one way. Transportation costs are not included.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 6 years old.
• The minimum age to drive a jet ski/wave runner without an adult is 18 years old.
• The maximum weight for a single jet ski is 300lbs (136Kg), and tandem combined 400lbs (181Kg).
• Guests need to be able to pull themselves onto the wave runner if they fall off.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
• This Freeport Lucaya Beach Guided Jet Ski Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
