Enjoy a fun ATV ride through the hills and trails of Ensenada and an exciting drive to one of the largest marine geysers in all of North America, the Bufadora. This is a unique and fun adventure that you do not want to miss!

You'll meet your guide close to your Ensenada cruise ship port, about a 2-minute walk away. You'll be given safety goggles and a helmet and shown how to drive your ATV. The guided ATV excursion takes you along the countryside dirt trails and through the mountains. Be treated to panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. You'll have approximately 2-hours to enjoy the wilderness of the area.

Back at the starting point, you'll board an air-conditioned vehicle for a 45-minute ride to La Bufadora blowhole. This is one of the largest blowholes in North America and puts on a show every minute or so. A blowhole or marine geyser is the result of waves entering a cave with a shaft. The pressure forces the air and water out of the top of the shaft forming a spray and a thunderous noise. Some of the geysers are more than 100 feet high and you'll be able to view this from a platform up above the shaft. The stop is about 1.5 hours and you can shop at the craft market and enjoy food and drink in a local restaurant (at your expense).

When your time at La Bufadora comes to an end, you will return right back to where you met your guide, just outside of your Ensenada cruise pier. Enjoy the wildness of this area of Mexico on this ATV adventure and Blowhole Excursion.

Where we meet

For the Ensenada ATV Bufadora Blowhole and Countryside Excursion, you will meet after a short 2-minute walk from your Ensenada cruise ship pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
• To drive SOLO there is a minimum age of 16 years old.
• If there are minors driving solo, the parent or guardian must show a valid driver's license and will be responsible for the minor's ATV.
• The maximum combined weight for double riding is 420lbs (190 kg).
• This excursion is not allowed for pregnant women, people with epilepsy, breathing issues, heart conditions, or guests with limited mobility.
• This Ensenada ATV Countryside and Bufadora Blowhole Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
