Your incredible day begins just outside the Old Town, where your friendly guide will be waiting for you. After a brief introduction to the day's schedule, you'll head into Dubrovnik and let the adventure begin.

First on your schedule is a delightful walk through the Old City. Enter through the Pile Gate to visit remarkable sites such as Onofrio's Fountain and the Church of St. Blaise. Continue to the majestic Dubrovnik Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Built between 1671 and 1713 to replace a Romanesque basilica destroyed in the 1667 earthquake, this cathedral is a fine example of Dubrovnik's rich history and architecture!

After visiting the cathedral, you'll pass by the Rector's Palace, a Gothic-style building that served as the seat of the Rector of the Republic of Ragusa until 1808. Today, the palace houses the Cultural History Museum, an ideal place to learn more about the port's history. Your guide will also provide you with some free time here to relax and refresh!

After a relaxing break, you'll board your transportation to begin the panoramic portion of your excursion. You'll be taken to Dubrovnik's Franjo Tudman Bridge, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the downtown area! At the end of your ride, you'll be returned to the original meeting point, where you can catch a taxi back to the cruise terminal to board your ship or continue exploring at your own expense.

• Excursion prices are quoted in US dollars.
• As you may be visiting religious or memorial sites, shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women.
• We suggest you have cash (Euros) on hand for the balance payment, taxi fare, refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
• Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are strongly recommended, along with sun protection.
• Please adhere to all restrictions and requirements for this excursion; no refunds will be granted if requirements are not met.

Where we meet

For this Dubrovnik Old Town, Franjo Tudman Bridge, and Sponza Palace Excursion, you will meet your local excursion guide after a short taxi ride from your Dubrovnik cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. If your ship does not dock and is at anchor, please allow enough time to tender ashore for your departure.

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
  
• Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
  
• Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel polished stone, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
