Join us and uncover the charms and history of stunning Dubrovnik with the best experience in port! Your day begins when you meet your knowledgeable guide near your cruise ship terminal. From there, you'll be guided through the Old Town to explore Dubrovnik's most important highlights.
After a brief meeting for instructions, you will stroll down the street to the center of the city, Luza Square, where you will visit the Church of St. Blaise. Known for its baroque architectural style and historical significance, it stands as one of Dubrovnik's most important landmarks. You'll also pause at Orlando's Column, situated directly in front of St. Blaise's Church, for some memorable photos. This well-known monument, erected in 1418, commemorates the knight Orlando, who, according to legend, aided the people of ancient Dubrovnik in repelling invaders during the Middle Ages, thereby securing the city's status as a free-trade city-state.
Continuing the excursion, your guide will lead you to other remarkable sights such as the Memorial Room in Sponza Palace, the Old Port of the city, the Dubrovnik Cathedral, and the Rector's Palace. Each location will offer a glimpse into Dubrovnik's captivating culture.
To conclude your itinerary, your friendly guide will accompany you aboard a comfortable boat for a scenic panoramic ride along the coast. You'll admire the city walls, downtown Dubrovnik, and more during this 45-minute boat ride. Afterward, you'll board your transportation to return to the meeting point, where you can continue exploring the Old Town and take a taxi back to your cruise ship terminal at your leisure.
Where we meet
For this Dubrovnik Historic Sights and Panoramic Boat Ride Excursion, you will meet your local excursion guide after a short taxi ride from your Dubrovnik cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. If your ship does not dock and is at anchor, please allow enough time to tender ashore for your departure.
Cancellation
For the Dubrovnik Historic Sights and Panoramic Boat Sightseeing Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 7 days prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
