Your adventure begins by meeting your guide at the Curacao cruise terminal, they will take you to your comfortable transportation and head to the stunning Hato Caves, home to majestic limestone formations, serene pools, and rare long-nosed fruit bats. Discover ancient Amerindian cave drawings, estimated to be over 1,500 years old, as you follow a 45-minute guided tour along a paved, well-lit path. These caves once served as hideouts for the Arawaks and escaped slaves, adding rich cultural depth to the experience.
After exploring the caves, you will continue your ride to enjoy a delicious local meal at the island’s top-rated restaurant, proudly serving guests for over 75 years. You will be treated with traditional flavors to die for!
Next in your itinerary, you will pass the salt flats of St. Willibrordus, where you might spot graceful flamingos, before heading to pristine, lesser-known beaches. Swim in crystal-clear waters, soak up the sun on white sands, and relax in peaceful, postcard-perfect settings known only to locals.
When this incredible day comes to an end, your guide will take you back to your transportation to enjoy a last ride to your cruise ship terminal, where you can board your cruise ship or if time allows, you can keep exploring the amazing Curacao Port at your own leisure and expense.
Where we meet
For this Curacao Coralmarine Isle and Traditional Cuisine Excursion, you will meet at your Curacao cruise ship terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Curacao Coralmarine Isle and Traditional Cuisine Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
