Get mesmerized by the nature of Curacao. Come and explore with us the desert, visit a natural Jacuzzi and visit Shete Boka Natural Park. Sit back, relax and see some of Curacao's wildest natural beauty in a safari-style vehicle with your guide.

This excursion will begin when you meet with your guide close to your Curacao cruise ship pier. You'll receive a safety briefing and then just hop in the back of the open safari-style transportation and head for the wide-open desert plains. Your guide will keep you entertained with information about the origins of the area, including volcanic and coral geological formations.

The driver will take you to your first stop at Suplado, which is a natural Jacuzzi where the sea and foam are sprayed through a chute with fountains and rainbows galore. You can stand in the shallow warm water surrounding the Suplado and watch the show up close and personally, but be prepared to get wet. Refreshing and beautiful!

Next, you're on to what's known as Boka Tabla, which is in the Shete Boka National Park. You'll visit a cave that is typically half full of water but has a narrow opening towards the sea. This allows powerful breaking waves to rush into the cave with a thunderous approach. You will experience the power of nature when you hear and see the beauty and the force.

Finally, you will be off to Boka Pistol. This is an inlet where the waves smash against the coral rock wall and explode into a spectacular fountain that sounds like a gunshot, hence the name. You can photograph the spectacle from a vantage point, or stand facing the water, but be sure your camera is water-tight and prepare to get soaking wet! It is a very unique experience!

Water and lemonade will be provided during the excursion.

Finally, it's time for the day to end, and your guide will take you back to your meeting point close to your Curacao cruise ship pier, wet, impressed, and happy to have seen the wonders of Curacao.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear hiking or closed shoes to walk in uneven and sharp rocks.
  
• Please wear your swimsuit under your clothes, bring a towel, sun protection, cash for tips, etc.

Where we meet

For this Breath of Curacao Safari Sightseeing Excursion, you will meet at outside your Curacao cruise ship terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 6 years old.
• Basic swimming skills are needed.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility, guests with joint or back problems, or pregnant women.
• Please take note that the ride may be bumpy.
• Please leave valuables on the ship (credit cards, passports, big cameras). The vehicle will be unattended during the hiking and snorkeling portion of the excursion.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
