Fun and full of excitement! Discover the beauty of the Sardinian countryside and its spectacular views. Enjoy the power and excitement of a 2 passenger quad-runner off-road adventure while exploring the forest and 2 of the most popular beaches of the region.

You will meet your English-speaking guide outside your Cagliari cruise ship terminal. They will escort you to your comfortable, air-conditioned transportation for the short 40-minute journey into the scenic Sardinian Mountains, complete with spectacular views.

Upon arrival at the base camp, you will receive all the necessary handling instructions and safety equipment to begin your amazing journey through the forest and Mediterranean countryside. You'll be able to admire the flora and fauna the untouched forest has to offer. If you are lucky enough, you'll be able to see wild boars, red deer, royal eagles, rabbits, ferrets, and snakes (there are no poison snakes in Sardinia). Admire the fantastic landscape and have your eyes wide open to capture the beauty of this place. They are shared 2-person quads. If you order for 2 participants, you will ride in the same vehicle but can switch out driving duties. The first stretch will allow you to gain confidence then off you go! In the first part of the excursion, you will ride through the hills and admire the Sardinian forest. Your guide will have bottled water ready for you along the trails.

Your next stop is a drive through the beaches of Malfatano and Cala Cipolla. Both are very well known because of their beauty, with crystal clear water and fine white sand; your ride would be an experience of a lifetime. Your knowledgeable local guide will share his expertise, providing both historical and interesting anecdotes to help make this a very personal experience. Please note that the total duration of the excursion is approximately 5 hours, of which around 3 hours are spent riding the quads through the scenic countryside and beaches. 

Then you will drive the quads back to the base camp, where you will board your transportation to be returned to your Cagliari cruise terminal.

Excursion Notes

• Excursion prices shown include all taxes, and fees and are quoted in US dollars.
• We recommend you to wear sensible clothes and mandatory closed shoes/sports sandals that you do not mind getting wet or dirty.
  
• Bring along sunglasses, sun protection, bug repellent, and cash (Euros) for balance payment, souvenirs, etc.
  
• You can leave your personal belongings at the base camp and will be guarded safely. 
  
• This excursion is organized for 2 guests in each quad. (Example. 2 guests - 1 quad, 3 to 4 guests - 2 quads, 5 to 6 guests - 3 quads)
• Once your reservation has been confirmed and for insurance purposes, we will request a copy of the driver's license and passport for those guests willing to drive.
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if requirements are not met.
• Transport by air-conditioned minivan with WiFi onboard. Due to availability, please be aware that vehicles used in the excursions may be different from the description and vary at the management's discretion.
  
• The vehicles are covered by liability insurance and any damage caused by improper use of the vehicles and equipment supplied by the local operator is to be considered at your expense.
  

Where we meet

For this Cagliari Off-Road Quad Adventure Excursion, you will meet your local excursion staff at the Cagliari Cruise Port's Passenger Terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. Please allow enough time to catch the port shuttle to the passenger terminal for your departure.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 8 years old.
• It is necessary to present a valid driver's license.
• The maximum weight per person is 198lbs (90 Kg).
• Underage participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian participating in the excursion.
• For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed during the route.
• This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.
• This Cagliari Off-Road Quad Adventure Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
