Explore the island of Aruba at your pace. See the sites you want to as you drive your UTV (utility task vehicle) through the streets on a self-guided fun adventure.
"Solo ta Brilla", the sun is shining. It's something the Arubans say more than anyone else in the Caribbean. Bathed in the warmth of a turquoise sea and cooled by trade winds, Aruba is the happy home to constant sunshine and powdery-soft white sand beaches. But the island is also alive with sights, sounds, and culinary delights found on no other Caribbean island. With friendly people eager to welcome and embrace you. With surprising natural wonders to explore, and countless ways to relax, indulge your wild side, and find happiness however you like it.
You will meet the staff outside your Aruba cruise terminal where your fully insured and licensed UTV is waiting! You will receive all necessary instructions to drive the UTV including the rules of the road. These automatic utility task vehicles have 4 wheels and drive similar to an automatic car with a gas and brake peddle. The price is per vehicle so you choose who you want to ride with you. You can choose to drive a 2 seat UTV or 4 seat UTV - please make sure the check the restrictions before booking. From there the half day is yours; you will have 4 fun-filled hours to explore this happy island. If you enjoy white sandy beaches there are plenty. Eagle, Manchebo, Andicuri, and Arashi are among the most beautiful.
For the nature lovers, make sure you check out Arikok National Park, home of Fontein Cave and Natural Pool. A Donkey Sanctuary on the east end and a Butterfly Farm in the resort area provide unique opportunities to connect with nature. You can also explore the remains of the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins which was the epicenter for the Aruban Gold Rush of the 19th century. While on the north coast you will also want to stop at the California Lighthouse which has been completely refurbished, and from the top, offers incredible 360-degree views of the island and surrounding water.
The distinctive flavors of Aruban, Caribbean, and Dutch cuisine combine to create delicious local fare, sure to satisfy any appetite. Please note that any attraction entrance fees and meal/beverage costs are not included.
You will find a full range of restaurants dotting the island from seafood restaurants, beach bars, and snack shacks. Upon completion of your journey, don't forget to fill up your tank before returning to your Aruba cruise port. Once you are back at the port you can board your ship or continue to explore at your own expense.
There is no better way to see the island than up close and personal by driving in your own UTV. This excursion allows you the freedom to explore at your own pace, enjoying Aruba as you wish.
