Enjoy a relaxing beach day at one of the nicest beach spots in Costa Maya at the Malecon21 Beach Club. You choose the package that suits you the best!

The beach club is a short 5-minute taxi ride from your Costa Maya cruise terminal. Malecon21 only allows 40 guests per day, so forget the crowds and enjoy this amazing beach. The beach club is open from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM and there are 3 packages to choose from - Platinum, Gold, and Silver – plus a special kids package! Your package is valid for 6 hours of service.

This great beach club location offers sunbeds, waving palm trees, a beach restaurant, washrooms, and a great view of the turquoise Caribbean Ocean. It's located right on the beach so you are mere steps from the ocean if you want to swim. You can walk the Malecon (boardwalk) to do some souvenir shopping or stroll the beach. 

The beach club offers different packages so you and your party can order what suits you the best - All-Inclusive Platinum, Gold Package, and Silver Package as well as child and infant options. Your group can mix and match their choices.

Silver Pass (11 years and up):

• Unlimited Open Bar of NON-alcoholic drinks (alcoholic drinks available for additional cost)
• One meal choice from the menu (excluding lobster and catch of the day)
• Lounge chair

Gold Pass (18 years and up):

• Unlimited Open Bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks)
• One meal choice from the menu (excluding lobster and catch of the day)
• Lounge chair

Platinum Pass (18 years and up):

• Unlimited Open Bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks)
• One meal choice from the menu (including lobster and catch of the day)
• Lounge chair

Child Pass (5-10 years):

• Unlimited Open Bar of NON-alcoholic drinks
• One meal choice from the menu (excluding lobster and catch of the day)
• Lounge chair

Lounge chairs are included in all the packages but please note there is no group reserved area. The staff will try to assist with gathering loungers together for your party.

Massages, banana boat rides, snorkeling, and more are available at additional cost on-site. Prices and reservations are available when you check in at the beach club. Towel rental is available for $5.00 USD per person. Note that there are no umbrellas but there are sun sail shades at the beach club as well as numerous palm trees for shade.

Alcohol packages include Corona, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, Victoria, Bud Light, and Traditional Cocktails. Non-alcohol packages include bottled water, mineral water, Coca-Cola regular and Light, Fanta, Sprite, Piñade, and smoothies.

Regardless of the package you choose, you and your friends or family will have a totally enjoyable experience at Malecon21. When you are ready to leave, you only need to take a taxi back to your Costa Maya cruise terminal.

Where we meet

For the Costa Maya Malecon21 Beach Break Day Pass Excursion, you will meet directly at Malecon21 Beach Club (approximate taxi cost is $8.00 USD per person). The beach club staff will have your name and reservation on file for this beach break package.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
• Underage children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
• The beach club is not wheelchair accessible.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
