You will start your journey with a smooth pickup from the cruise port, your professional guide will be waiting for you outside the terminal holding a sign for you to recognize them easily. Then set out on a pedal-assisted E-Bike adventure, guided by a local expert. Ride along serene, off-traffic routes to explore the best landmarks and iconic neighborhoods. Along the way, you will stop to savor traditional Greek street food from savory souvlaki to the irresistible taste of baklava. Your knowledgeable guide will share interesting stories about each stop and the history behind each dish so you can learn the culinary traditions of Greece!

During your ride, you will also visit  Athens' iconic landmarks such as the Ancient Agora, the incredible Monastiraki, Hadrian's Library, the Roman Forum, and the Tower of the Winds, a symbol of ancient ingenuity! Continue your road to the Plaka district to admire the Lysicrates Monument and the magnificent Temple of Zeus, with a little luck you will be able to witness the ceremonial changing of the Presidential Guards before wrapping up your day at the Zappeion. With minimal effort, you’ll get the best of both worlds, rich history, local culture, and mouthwatering food!

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
• Bring along a small backpack with biodegradable sunblock, bug spray, a towel, cash for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc (we suggest bringing Euro cash as some little shops might not accept foreign currency).
• Please note this excursion is easy and suitable for all skill levels.
• The excursion is designed for small groups of up to 10 participants.
• Not available on Sundays

Where we meet

For the Athens Memorable Sightseeing and Food Tasting by E-Bike Excursion, you will meet your local guide outside your cruise terminal. All the essential details will be provided on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accesible.
• This excursion is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
• The recommended height for this excursion is 1.55 m - 1.95 m (5,08ft - 6,39ft). If guests are beyond the height limit a proper E-bike may not be provided and the guest may be excluded from the excursion.
• The weight limit for this excursion is 110 kg (220 lbs).

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
