When you stop in Jamaica at Ocho Rios, you can spend your time relaxing and cooling off in the refreshing waters at the famous Blue Hole. Head up to the mountains and enjoy the magical waterfalls and cool natural swimming pools.

You'll meet your friendly driver at your Ocho Rios cruise terminal. Your 20-minute drive to Blue Hole takes you up the mountains of the White River Valley to the turquoise waters of the Blue Hole, tucked away in the jungle. Mother Nature at her finest! Here you'll sign in and meet your guide. They'll be with you on your time here to make sure you're safe and can enjoy all the area has to offer. Blessed with pristine natural surroundings, you will not find any commercialism...birds yes, neon lights no!

You can choose what you'd like to do with your time at the Blue Hole. For those who seek adventure, you can climb with your guide up a series of small waterfalls. Let the falling water massage your neck and shoulders and release all tension. Try the 10-foot leap into the cool blue waters of a natural pool that gives the area its name. Let your inner Tarzan out on the rope swing as you release into the refreshing pool.

If you prefer a day of relaxing and being surrounded by nature you can take a swim in the cool waters and let the guides entertain you with their acrobatics as they flip and dive from the elevated platforms. Bring your towel and snooze in the shade or bask in the sun. 

When your time at the Blue Hole comes to an end, your driver will return you to the cruise terminal after your day in the mountain jungle.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest that you wear your swimsuit under sensible clothes and sports sandals or water shoes.
• Bring along sunglasses, towel, and cash for balance payment, souvenir photos, tips, etc.

Where we meet

For the Ocho Rios Blue Hole Adventure Excursion, you will meet just outside your cruise terminal. All specific information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Minimum age to participate in this excursion is 4 years old.
• Maximum weight to participate is 280lbs (127kg).
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
